What makes afternoon tea at The Runnymede even more special is our picturesque riverside location. Enjoy a long, lazy afternoon overlooking Bell Weir lock as boats, people and their dogs pass by. Plus, as we are just a stone’s throw from Windsor, it’s the perfect way to relax and indulge after a morning exploring this historic town.

We cater for vegans and vegetarians, adults and little ones alike.

Please note – a discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to your bill. 100% of all gratuities are passed directly to the team members, which are supplementary to their salaries.

Whilst the hotel is undergoing an extensive refurbishment, it will continue to remain open throughout and look after its guests as it always has done. However, as we continue to transition to a Warner Hotel, an adult only proposition, we are no longer able to accommodate families either residentially or in our food and beverage areas from Monday 12th August 2024. 

Booking terms

  • Tables can be booked between 1.30pm-3.30pm, Monday to Saturday.
  • Tables are available for up to a maximum of 6 guests.
  • We would like notice of cancellations at least 48 hours prior to visiting us. Regretfully if we are not notified of your change in plans a charge of £10 per person will be applied.
  • We also require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice should you have specific dietary requirements that we need to cater for.
  • Please note an optional 10% service charge will be added to your bill at the end of service.
